Move Office

*I moved my office to 622. Please drop by if you like.
*After a harsh discussion with Jen, we decided to decrease frequency of eating out for dinner during the next academic year in order to economize our budget. Or more precisely, my earnest request of having good dinner with more expenditure is completely neglected.

Weather, Swine flu, and Movie

*Temperature hits close to 90's two weeks ago, and it is now 50's. I have no idea anymore what is normal for this season.
*Swine flu is rapidly expanding also in Japan, especially in Osaka, very close from my hometown. Worry about my family and friends.
*Watched Angels & Demons the last weekend, which is a continuation of Da Vinci Code. I was not quite interested in the movie, but Jen forced me to go to a theater. Have to say, however, that it was enjoyable more than expected. Feel like a classy (not wild) version of Indiana Jones?

Puerto Rico

El Morro, Guardian Fort constructed to protect Puerto Rico city from European, Caribbean pirates, etc.

Puerto Rico city (Old San Juan), filled with colorful architectures.

The Kite Runner, how come I am in this city?

Yeah, but she enjoyed it anyway.

El Yunque, 4 hours hike in the tropical rain forest. Tough, but refreshed. (After coming back home, we found out our muscle rate increased significantly according to the health meter. Nice.)

Bacardi, the rum factory. I, a car driver, could not taste any of their products while she got drunk. A sad story.

Lazy Day

Today is Lazy day. I did not read even one page of book. Instead, slept well, ate a lot, and watched DVDs. She gave me a gorgeous health meter (which can measure your fat, muscle, metabolism) on the last Christmas, and use it every morning. It frightens me out.
